AAZAAD PROJECTS
Critical thinking, collective care and systems
change for the everyday
Aazaad works with people, teams and organisations across human services, justice, care and community organising to take action, strengthen practice and transform systems.
We design and deliver workshops, facilitation, supervision, collective learning, case reflection and program strategy and design — all aimed at embedding care, accountability and critical reflexivity to support transformative change within complex systems.
AAZAAD PROJECTS
OFFERINGS
OFFERINGS
Aazaad creates space to think critically, to move relationally in order to stay anchored in values that resist systemic harm and open pathways for transformative action and change.
We’re interested in the everyday — how systems shape practice, how harm becomes routine and how we can orient ourselves, our work and our communities toward ways of being that are more connected, courageous and sustaining.
NEW GROUND
This is not about coping better within broken systems. It’s about loosening what binds us — the habits, roles and ways of working that keep us small or silent.
Aazaad Projects is dedicated to finding new ground to act from.

APPROACH
APPROACH
We offer approaches committed to the principles and praxes which are culturally grounded and justice aligned to build genuine partnerships and do collaborative work alongside communities.
Our work centres community knowledge, leadership and self determination to ensure outcomes that are meaningful, respectful and sustainable.
ME
My name is Sunaina Pinto and I created Aazaad Projects to spark collaborations and projects in pursuit of transformative systemic change.
For over two decades, I have worked across frontline human services roles in family and domestic violence, mental health, program co-design, community organising, reflective supervision and more. The political and philosophical framework of Aazaad has been shaped by my lineage, migration experience and the communities and people I have lived and worked alongside.
Based in the central desert for the past decade, I currently reside in Mparntwe, Alice Springs.
